Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time) in CENTRAL VALLEY, NY. Serve and safeguard clients across retail and other settings, patrolling assigned areas and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

Security Officer Full Time Patrol Operations in CENTRAL VALLEY, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a premier retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with guests and staff while contributing to a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 - $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Fri: 09:30 AM - 08:00 PM
• Sat: 09:30 AM - 09:00 PM
• Sun: 09:30 AM - 09:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, stockroom-adjacent areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and visitor activity while maintaining a professional, welcoming presence in a luxury retail environment.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
