Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Guest Services in Memphis, TN. You will protect clients across logistics and distribution sites, maintain visible security, support access control, and deliver excellent customer service.

The role is full-time with a daytime schedule and hourly pay rate of $17.00. You will perform patrols, monitor access, document incidents, and report on site conditions while upholding Allied Universal's values of integrity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and following site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe movement of personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries per site requirements.
• Prepare clear activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Guest Services in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
