Allied Universal, San Francisco-based security leader, invites experienced officers to join our full-time patrol team. The Security Officer performs unarmed and planned site patrols at a financial institution, ensuring safety and service excellence while maintaining a visible, welcoming presence.

This role requires strong customer service, routine reporting, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. Training and career growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year security-related experience required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Emergency Preparedness in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and stakeholders while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site requirements, helping to deter unauthorized access.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns or unusual conditions.


• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for incidents, observations, and security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.


• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.


• CPR certification is preferred.


• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
