Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver Response in Lancaster, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and government facility occupants while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access concerns or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions taken according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site management and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
