Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Driver in Lititz, PA. You will protect tenants and visitors at a commercial real estate location, conduct patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents with professional service.

The role is full-time, with a predictable afternoon schedule (Mon-Sun 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) and pay of $18.75 per hour. A valid driver's license and strong customer service are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving roles.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted as required by law.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and staff at a commercial real estate location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct routine patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify authorization and report concerns to site personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and complete incident reports.
• Maintain a professional presence and communicate with property management and emergency responders.

Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or staff at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete incident reports according to site requirements.
• Maintain a professional presence while communicating with property management, tenants, and emergency responders regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to: state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
