Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as per law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, parking areas, public spaces, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; verify authorization in accordance with site policies; maintain visitor, vehicle, and incident records as required.
• Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and public service agencies when needed.
• Document observations and incidents accurately, communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and support a professional environment for all occupants and visitors.

What You’ll Do:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
