Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Atlanta, GA, to provide vigilant protection at a financial institution. This role emphasizes customer service, incident response, and professional communication to deter security threats and ensure a welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

You will perform regular unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with careful adherence to site procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to deter security-related incidents.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Document patrols, observations, and incidents accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

What You’ll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
