As a Security Officer - Full Time - Patrol Driverin LIMA, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor entry requirements in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs while communicating observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
