As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in McPherson, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with personnel and visitors, and support a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.94 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical refinery location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following site‑specific protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout operational areas, buildings, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as required, document visitor and contractor activity, and report unusual conditions to appropriate site contacts.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, patrol findings, and daily activities, while communicating professionally with employees, contractors, visitors, and emergency response personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
