Allied Universal in Albany, GA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver to protect patients, staff and visitors at a healthcare location. The role emphasizes visible patrols, quick response and excellent customer service while upholding safety protocols.

You will drive a patrol vehicle, monitor access points, report incidents, and support a welcoming environment. A valid driver's license and the ability to lift 20 pounds are preferred; 18+ years old for unarmed roles.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, access-control procedures, and reporting of suspicious activity or facility concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
