Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer in Burlington, NC for full-time patrol and customer service duties at a healthcare location. You will perform unarmed patrols, assist with access control, and respond to emergencies while maintaining a professional presence.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Customer Service Access Control in Burlington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with staff, patients, and visitors while contributing to a caring, reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies within a healthcare location.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, including building interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.


• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.


• Assist with visitor access procedures, directions, and reporting of suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns to designated personnel.


• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or responding agencies as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• CPR certification is preferred.


• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Be at least 21 years of age


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
