Job summary

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age and able to meet site requirements.
• Graduate of law enforcement or military police training or equivalent.
• Possess 2+ years of law enforcement, military or corrections experience.
• Hold a valid law enforcement officer license and a valid driver’s license where required.
• Subject to background check and drug screen in accordance with laws.

• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally, with armed presence if required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeters.

What You\'ll Do

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence consistent with post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and sensitive areas, verify credentials when required, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in clear reports and communicate with site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess 2 or more years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
• Possess a law enforcement officer license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
