Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer in Clayton, NC for full-time, unarmed access control and patrol duties at a healthcare location. You will perform routine patrols, monitor entry points, assist with badge procedures, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and high school diploma, with CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, donors, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the healthcare facility, parking areas, donor entry points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report suspicious behavior, facility hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual occurrences accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or responding personnel.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Access Control Patrol Driver in Clayton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, support badge and visitor procedures, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and integrity-driven team.

Pay Rate: $16.48 / Hour

• Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
