Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer for full-time patrol at a Livermore, CA location. You will provide customer service, deter incidents, and maintain a visible, professional security presence.

In this unarmed role at a retail/mall site, you will conduct patrols, monitor access points, report incidents, and support location management while upholding Allied Universal's values of integrity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while promptly notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, surrounding perimeter, entrances, and common areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Document incidents, patrols, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and location management.

Pay Rate: $23.69 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 AM - 08:00 PM
• Tue: 11:00 AM - 08:00 PM
• Wed: 11:00 AM - 08:00 PM
• Sun: 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You'll Do:
