Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Experience with alarm panels preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and driver authorization, and maintain logs and incident reports in accordance with site requirements.
• Observe and report irregular conditions, damaged barriers, unsecured doors, and/or other security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Coordination in Lithia Springs, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm systems, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
