Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Computer Tablet in Whitsett, NC to serve and safeguard clients across Tech/Media/Telecom and other sectors. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology-focused location while carrying out security procedures and emergency responses.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to report conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and maintain incident and patrol documentation.
• Communicate observations to site leadership and emergency responders when appropriate.

Pay Rate: $16.89 / Hour

• Mon 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Tue 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or guests at a technology-focused location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate incident, patrol, and shift documentation.
• Communicate observations and relevant information to site leadership, Allied Universal management, and/or emergency responders when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
