Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Compliance in Birmingham, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to patients, visitors, and staff while contributing to a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $15.40 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of clinic areas, waiting rooms, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Help maintain an orderly environment by monitoring access points, observing visitor activity, and supporting established procedures for patients, staff, and vendors.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activity in accordance with Allied Universal and location requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badges is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
