Allied Universal, Lithia Springs, GA, seeks a Security Officer for full-time patrol and access management. You will provide customer service, monitor access points, respond to alarms, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour. You will perform routine patrols, document incidents, and collaborate with site leadership to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as part of employment.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local regulations.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while following site policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and efficiently.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of warehouse, loading dock, parking and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and observe personnel, vehicles, and visitors per site rules.
• Document incidents and observations and communicate with Allied Universal leadership promptly.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Access Management in Lithia Springs, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Tue: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Wed: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Thur: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe personnel, visitor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
