Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Verona, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will interact professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors while providing customer-focused service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $10.15 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor and contractor credentials, maintain required logs, and direct authorized personnel according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, equipment concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Observe and report potential hazards, damaged property, policy violations, and suspicious activity using clear, accurate written reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
