Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Rye, NY. You will protect residents, visitors, and staff, perform access control, and respond to security incidents. DayTime and weekend shifts available, with a flexible schedule and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and manage access to the residential location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized individuals appropriately.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Responsibilities include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, documenting activity, responding to security-related concerns, and delivering outstanding customer service. Use access-control technology and clear communication to help deter incidents while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
