Allied Universal, Reno, NV, is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for full-time daytime shifts. You will patrol interior and exterior areas, deter unauthorized access, and provide exceptional customer service to employees and visitors at a technology, media, and telecommunications campus.

Responsibilities include documenting incidents, monitoring access points, and coordinating with site leadership and emergency responders as needed.

Formación

• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check conducted under applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Full Time Patrol Documentation in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and facility conditions; verify credentials in accordance with site procedures and report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate observations to site leadership, Allied Universal supervision, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
