Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries at a technology, media, and telecom location by following site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking areas, and perimeters to deter incidents.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, alarms, cameras and other security systems per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document observations and actions taken.
• Communicate security concerns and maintenance issues to site leadership per procedures.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, alarms, cameras, and/or other security-related systems in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; document observations and actions taken.
• Communicate security-related concerns, unusual activity, maintenance issues, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision in accordance with established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
