Security Officer Full Time Patrol

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Greencastle, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with tenants and visitors, and support access control operations. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, vendor, and tenant traffic in accordance with property policies.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
