Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Boise, ID to protect clients at a technology-focused site. You will monitor assigned areas, deter incidents, and deliver courteous customer service while maintaining a strong visible presence.

As an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic location, you will conduct routine patrols, manage access points, document incidents, and support a safe, welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Schedule: Mon–Sun, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening in accordance with laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and entrances to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; maintain logs and documentation.
• Communicate observed conditions and requests for assistance to site leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding observed conditions, incidents, and requests for assistance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
