Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures and responding to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and notify appropriate contacts or emergency services.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and report unusual activity and maintenance issues.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications using required systems.

As a Security Officer Full - Time Overnights in Hebron, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, respond to concerns, and support a welcoming environment. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, exterior perimeter, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications using required systems and reporting tools.

Minimum Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
