Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees and contractors by carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Monitor front-desk access by verifying credentials, issuing badges, and directing authorized individuals.
• Receive, screen and route calls, deliveries and inquiries with a professional front-desk presence.
• Monitor access-control systems, alarms and equipment and report issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents calmly following established emergency and chemical facility protocols.

As a Security Officer Full Time Office Building in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence while supporting access control, visitor management, and clear communication of site procedures. You will help maintain a secure environment through attentive monitoring, exceptional customer service, and timely reporting of security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $18.39 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and manage front-desk access by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor records, issuing badges, and directing authorized individuals in accordance with site requirements.
• Receive, screen, and route incoming calls, deliveries, and inquiries while maintaining a professional and courteous presence at the front desk.
• Monitor access-control systems, alarms, and communication equipment, and report unusual activity, access concerns, or facility issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency and chemical facility response protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
