Texas Health Huguley Hospital in Burleson, TX is seeking a Security Officer for full-time night shift (2230-0700). The role involves patrols, access control, escorts, incident reporting, and responsive collaboration with Police, Fire, and EMS.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and preferred associates degree in security-related fields. Certifications such as DL, ACPI, NCSO/CSO, and TASER are required or preferred, with multiple certifications supported by on-site

• Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security, or closely related field is preferred.
• DL - Drivers License (Class C and insurable) upon hire required
• ACPI - Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually; 30 days required
• NCSO - Non-Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 2 (not required if Level 3) 120 days required
• CSO - Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 3 (2 attempts permitted); Biannual recertification 120 days required
• TASER Certification; complete course & Certification; annual recertification; 120 days required
• What You Will Do includes patrols, door control, escorts, incident reports, and coordination with emergency services

Responsibilities

• Patrol buildings and clinics for unlocked secured areas for after-hour entry.
• Lock and open doors according to schedules.
• Provide individual and group escorts to and from parking areas.
• Identify and remove unauthorized individuals from the property.
• Maintain compliance with Texas Health Police policies.
• Pursue and detain persons involved in criminal activity.
• Fill out incident/offense report forms and compose narratives.
• Use critical thinking and apply appropriate level of force as needed.
• Respond to and activate the appropriate emergency response code.
• Interact with Police, Fire, EMS and other emergency staff as required

Education

Here’s What You Need

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required And

• Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security, or closely related field is preferred

Experience

• If Texas Private Security Level 2, 2+ years of experience preferred

• If Texas Private Security Level 3, 1+ years of experience preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• DL - Drivers License (Class C and insurable) upon hire required And
