Job Description As a Security Officer Digital Screening in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening people and items, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting daily operations. Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and authorized items entering designated areas in accordance with applicable procedures and screening requirements.
• Monitor screening equipment and access points, identify irregularities, and report concerns to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, business locations, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
