Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facility grounds, access points, buildings, and perimeter areas to deter incidents.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, maintain visitor/contractor logs, and report concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazards, and critical situations calmly, following site protocols and notifying proper personnel.
• Prepare accurate patrol and incident reports and maintain shift documentation.

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of chemical and petrochemical facility grounds, access points, buildings, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-condition notifications, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and shift documentation related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
