As a Security Officer Full Time - Mornings in Amana, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, manage badge access, conduct routine patrols, and respond to security-related incidents. You will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $20.06 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to manufacturing and industrial facilities by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Assist with maintaining visitor logs, issuing and recovering access credentials, and reporting access-control discrepancies to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility entrances, perimeter areas, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
