As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Gilroy, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

• Mon 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Tue 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Fri 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Sat 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Sun 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location to help deter theft, trespassing, and other policy violations.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
