As a Security Officer Full Time Katy FWYin Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and stakeholders while responding to security-related concerns. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations and reporting concerns to designated personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate emergency services and/or site contacts when needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish.
• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
