Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Risk Review in Monroe, NC to monitor sites, deter incidents, and maintain a visible presence.

As an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will support access control, report observations, and provide customer service. Schedule: Mon-Sun nights, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM; Pay: $19.47 per hour; Full-time position.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigations in line with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Risk Review in Monroe, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, report observations, respond to routine concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, supervisors, and emergency responders to support a secure and orderly work environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
