Job summary

Allied Universal, Port Isabel, TX, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Compliance Review to safeguard clients in financial institutions and other settings. You will monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering professional customer service to visitors and staff.

The role requires following procedures, documenting activities, and escalating concerns as needed.

Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigation required under applicable laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies, and assist with emergency responses.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the financial institution location and surrounding perimeter.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and employee credentials, and maintain logs and documentation.
Assist with protection of personnel, visitors, property, and confidential areas by observing, reporting, and escalating concerns.
