Job summary

Admiral Security Services is seeking a Full-Time Security Officer for the Curtis Bay area in Maryland. The role involves access control for guests, tenants and vendors, enforcing policies, patrolling, and reporting security incidents.

Candidates must be 21+, pass background checks and drug screens, and have strong customer service skills. The position requires standing, walking, and some lifting, with shifts from Saturday to Wednesday 7:00 am–3:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office products.
• Operate and maintain site-specific security programs.
• At least one year of verifiable work experience.
• Maryland Security Guard card or ability to obtain.
• TWIC card or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Protect and control access for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Enforce Client and Company policies and procedures.
• Observe and report security and safety hazards.
• Conduct routine foot patrols around the building.
• Report issues to the operations manager, client and ADM managers.
• Interact with clients, visitors, public safety officials and staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
