Job summary

Admiral Security Services is seeking a security professional to join our Columbia, MD site. You will perform access control, monitor safety hazards, and patrol facilities to ensure secure operations. The role requires strong customer service and the ability to multitask across shifts and contracts.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm with pay at 18.50 per hour. Candidates must have a Maryland Security Guard Card, a valid driver's license, and reliable

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen (tests for multiple substances).
• Must possess exceptional customer service skills.
• Must be able to multitask.
• Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office products.
• Must be able to operate and maintain site specific security programs.
• Must have at least one year of verifiable work experience; military or related education considered.

Responsibilities

• Access control for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Enforcement of client and company policies and procedures.
• Observation and reporting of security and safety hazards.
• Conduct routine foot patrols in and around buildings.
• Report all pertinent issues to the operations manager, client, and other managers.
• Interact with clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees and the public.
• Other duties as assigned.
