Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Concierge in Boise, ID to serve clients across Tech/Media/Telecom locations. You will greet visitors, verify credentials, monitor entry points, and maintain visitor logs while delivering professional customer service.

You will respond calmly to incidents, coordinate with site contacts and leadership, and ensure a secure, welcoming reception area every shift.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a front-desk role.
• Ability to verify identification and log visitors.
• Willingness to undergo background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service at a front desk within a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Welcome visitors, employees, contractors, and delivery personnel; verify identification and credentials; and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, alarms, cameras, and/or communication systems from the assigned desk, reporting unusual activity through established channels.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Maintain a professional reception area, communicate clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and complete required logs and incident documentation.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Welcome visitors, employees, contractors, and delivery personnel; verify identification and credentials; and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, alarms, cameras, and/or communication systems from the assigned desk, reporting unusual activity through established channels.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Maintain a professional reception area, communicate clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and complete required logs and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
