Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, members, employees, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk and control access by greeting visitors, verifying identification and appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
• Monitor entry activity, alarms, cameras, and other assigned systems, reporting unusual conditions or concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident documentation, and front-desk communications while helping to deter unauthorized access to the healthcare location.

As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Access Control in Rochester, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a healthcare setting, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.
