Allied Universal in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Foot Patrol to safeguard campus clients across education and other sites. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service to students, staff, and visitors, contributing to a welcoming and safe campus environment.

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law; drug screen implemented where allowed.
• Licensing requirements may apply; valid driver’s license for driving positions.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus community members while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, facility issues, hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate campus contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Foot Patrol in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an educational setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service to students, staff, and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
