Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer in Kenosha, WI to monitor and protect a technology-focused site while delivering excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

You will conduct patrols, verify credentials, respond to alarms, and maintain logs in a professional environment. The role is full-time, with a schedule that includes day and evening shifts and requires a HS diploma, background check, and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen may be required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and follow established escalation procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while supporting a professional and welcoming environment.
