• Assist in deterring unauthorized entry and directing visitors and deliveries to appropriate locations.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Facility Access in Allentown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and help maintain a secure environment. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and guests, and use computer or tablet systems to support access activities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-control records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, production-adjacent spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter, while reporting unusual conditions.
• Support compliance with facility access requirements by helping to deter unauthorized entry and directing visitors, deliveries, and contractors to appropriate locations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
