• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies; document observations and notify site contacts or responders.
• Report hazards and policy violations to appropriate personnel to support a professional healthcare environment.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver Badge Verification in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a healthcare location. In this driving role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, manage access points, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will communicate clearly with staff and visitors while responding to security-related concerns with professionalism, teamwork, integrity, and a caring, people-first approach.

Pay Rate: $16.74 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Tue: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Wed: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, donors, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the healthcare facility, donor areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain professional interactions with all individuals.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Support a professional healthcare environment by reporting hazards, facility concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
