Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, donors, visitors, and staff following site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly per facility protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and report unusual activity.
• Complete activity logs and incident reports; communicate with site contacts and leadership.

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Access Control Patrol Driver in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. • Mon: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Tue: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Wed: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Thur: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Fri: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, donors, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation while communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
