Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a full-time Security Officer Entry Control in Ocala, FL. You will serve clients by performing security procedures, monitoring access, and maintaining a visible presence at a retail location.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, associates, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, screening visitors, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, exits, receiving areas, sales floors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with store leadership and personnel while supporting access-control procedures during deliveries, vendor visits, and high-traffic periods.

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:
