Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor sign-in, and maintain accurate access records.
• Respond to alarms and incidents calmly, notifying site contacts or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, parking areas, and facility perimeter to identify maintenance concerns or unusual activity.
• Enforce site access requirements for employees, deliveries, and contractors with professionalism.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, managing visitor activity, and responding to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor sign-in processes, and maintain accurate access-control records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entry points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter, to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Assist with the enforcement of site access requirements for employees, delivery personnel, and contractors while maintaining a professional and courteous presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
