Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to facilities by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, maintaining access logs, and directing authorized individuals.
• Observe entry points and restricted areas; report unusual activity and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document actions taken.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, perimeters, parking areas, and grounds to deter unauthorized access.

As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to manufacturing and industrial facilities by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, maintaining access logs, and directing authorized individuals to designated areas.
• Observe entry points, gates, and restricted areas; report unusual activity, access concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to help deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
