Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Driver Visitor Management in Shreveport, LA. You will safeguard clients, monitor access, and assist visitors at an industrial site while driving as needed.

The position requires a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work Monday through Friday 2:00 PM–10:00 PM with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers via site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials, maintain logs, and direct to check-in locations.
• Respond calmly to alarms/incidents and escalate per site protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Document incidents and access-control activities with site leadership.

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Visitor Management in Shreveport, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and help maintain a controlled environment for personnel and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and use technology to support site operations. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Weekly Pay

Job Schedule:

• Mon - 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue - 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed - 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur - 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri - 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct individuals to appropriate check‑in locations.
• Respond to access‑control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns through established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized activity or facility concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership while documenting security‑related incidents, observations, and access‑control activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
