Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation under federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Monitor and control access points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records.
• Screen incoming and outgoing vehicles and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
