Allied Universal is seeking a Safety-focused Security Officer Full Time Driver Compliance in Matteson, IL. You will safeguard clients across tech and telecom sites, perform routine patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents, while maintaining a professional, customer-service oriented environment.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent, with a schedule Wed–Sun nights and a pay rate of $19.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors and delivery personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of office areas, access points, parking areas, docks, and perimeter.
• Monitor access and verify credentials per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations.
• Complete activity logs and incident reports per procedures.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, access points, parking areas, loading docks, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access activity and verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry and supporting a professional environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
