Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Assessment Driver in Peoria, IL. You will serve clients, perform routine patrols, and maintain a visible security presence at a utilities location.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Assessment Driver in Peoria, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utilities-related industrial location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, equipment areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor records, and report access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
